Aerolase laser technology offers highly effective, long-term effects for treating active acne including conditions such as severe and cystic acne, acne on dark skin, and acne on the torso, and back. LightPod Neo lasers’ light-based therapy is an effective, alternative treatment for acne patients of any age or skin type, but also for patients who have not responded to traditional therapies or cannot take oral medications.

What are commonly treated areas?

Acne treatments can treat problematic skin on the face, neck, arms, legs, and back.

Is the treatment painful?

No. Most patients who have tried other lasers report that the Lightpod Neo Laser is much gentler and more pleasant. Patients experience a mild, warming sensation on the skin. A slight redness of the skin, if it occurs at all, will typically fade within a few hours. No skin cooling, anesthetics, or gels are needed.

What kind of experience does the laser technician have?
Our laser technician is a licensed Clinical Cosmetologist with more then 15 years experience in the industry. Trained and certified at the Laser Institute with Aerolase Medical Lasers and very knowledgeable with previous employment at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Image Recovery Spa.

Do you work with a Medical Doctor?
Yes. Our laser services are non-ablative.  The
Lightpod Neo Laser will keep the skin intact. This is an aesthetic procedure and does not require a doctor's care. We do have an RN on staff full time for any pre or post-care concerns for our patients. The MD, Medical Director is available for the Laser Technician to contact for adverse reactions.

How many treatments are required?
This will be discussed during your free consultation. Treatments vary, depending on the severity of acne or rosacea condition.

commitment and home care regimen.
