What are commonly treated areas?

Laser hair removal treatments can remove unwanted hair on the bikini area, face, arms/underarms, legs, back, chest/abdomen, neck, ear/nose and more.

Is the treatment painful?

No. Most patients who have tried other lasers report that the Lightpod Neo Laser is much gentler and more pleasant. Patients experience a mild, warming sensation on the skin. A slight redness of the skin, if it occurs at all, will typically fade within a few hours. No skin cooling, anesthetics, or gels are needed.

What kind of experience does the laser technician have?
Our laser technician is a licensed Clinical Cosmetologist with more then 20 years experience in the industry. Trained and certified at the Laser Institute with Aerolase Medical Lasers and very knowledgeable with previous employment at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Image Recovery Spa.

Do you work with a Medical Doctor?
Our laser services are non-ablative, all effects are below the skin surface.  The Lightpod Neo Laser will keep the skin intact, while eliminating unwanted hair, pigments and/or bacteria, like acne. We do have an RN on staff full time for any pre or post-care concerns for the patient. We also have an MD as Medical Director available for your Laser Technician to contact for any adverse effects.

How many treatments are required?

 All permanent laser hair removal can take 6-8 treatments. Treatments are every 4-6 weeks apart.
